George Clooney was turned away from a retirement home in Italy near his house on the banks of Lake Como. The `Syriana’ star was denied access to the home, which he regularly visits, because staff failed to recognise him in his leather biking gear. George has befriended the pensioners and often gives them classic films, but the modest Samaritan has always requested his visits remain private.
