Kim Kardashian is launching her own makeup line

Kim's coveted beauty look will now be available on shelves from next week.

Following in the footsteps of younger sister Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian West is launching her own beauty line.

She announced the news on her Instagram, using cryptic countdown videos pointing to the date of the launch (June 21st) and to a website where you can sign up for [KKW Beauty]https://skknbykim.com|target=”_blank”).

Kim Kardashian is famed for her glam squad and perfected make up look – dewy skin, contour, highlight and nudes – which she has honed over many years with long-time friend Mario Dedivanovic.

So, what can we expect from KKW Beauty?

‘You’re gonna see everything that has been my favourite products, that I use all the time,’ Kim said in a recent interview with Forbes. ‘Hopefully every month we’ll have a drop of another product. I’m focusing on skin on contouring and concealer and all my favourite things.

‘We will be producing everything [locally, in California]. It’s so accessible for me to go to the factory and see how everything’s done, which I think is really important, to be involved every step of the way.

‘You should see my house at home, is filled with every shade, formula, it’s really exciting going through this journey, and doing it all by myself and figuring it out.’

Unsurprisingly, the pièce de résistance will be a contour kit.

‘We’re launching with a contour kit. I change my looks up all the time, but the one thing that’s consistent is contour.’

This won’t be the first time Kim has imparted some of her makeup prowess onto us; earlier this year she collaborated with Kylie for KKW x Kylie to bring out four nude lip colours.

Kylie Jenner’s lucrative beauty line has rocketed her into the Forbes Celebrity 100 list this year.

Also, in 2012 Kim, Kourtney and Khloe launched beauty line Kroma, but it was later pulled from stores after a lawsuit was filed claiming that the name had been stolen.
