Perhaps he doesn’t know how to tone it down for a TV set, because Will Smith is reportedly causing difficulties on set of his wife’s medical drama ‘HawthoRNe’.
The show, which features Jada Pinkett-Smith as nurse Christina Hawthorne, debuted to stellar ratings last year. However, in the midst of filming the second series, the show took an unscheduled eight-day hiatus. The official story was that there had been an illness in the Smith family, but on-set insiders tell a much juicier tale.
According to the snitch, the production halt was entirely the fault of Will. “He is not currently shooting a movie, so he’s been a constant on the set in recent weeks,” says the insider. “He’s been inserting his input and requesting so many changes to the script that it pushed back the production schedule tremendously and caused everything to spiral out of control.”
Naturally, Will’s camp deny the reports, but our spy continues, “Everyone is praying for him to book a new movie so that he will go away.” Unfortunately, the ‘I Am Legend’ star may be sticking around for a bit longer as he decides whether to film a third instalment of ‘oen in Black’ or take on a new role in the upcoming fantasy-adventure ‘The City That Sailed’. Maybe Jada needs to get her man under control!
