Whoopi Goldberg already has an oscar, a Grammy, a Tony and an Emmy award to her name, but she is now setting her sights on a new honour – a Nobel Peace Prize.
The ‘Sister Act’ star already lends her name and time to numerous charities and philanthropic organisations and reportedly says she would like her charitable efforts to be recognised by the Nobel Foundation.
“Before I’m 80, I’d like to get a Nobel Prize,” says the 54-year-old. “I believe that it’s possible to really work toward peace.” Even if there is no award forthcoming in the next 26 years, the actress says she will continue to work towards a more peaceful world.
