David Beckham has revealed he is a man of simple tastes. The world-famous footballer, well-known for his lavish lifestyle, says all he wants for Christmas is a set of nonstick pots and pans. Becks confesses, “I learned to cook at 17. I love cooking now for my family so I’d love it if they bought me some saucepans or a frying pan.” Luckily for Victoria, her husband’s not as Scrooge-like with the gifts he’s planning on giving – the Real Madrid star adds, “I love buying her jewellery.” [4 December 2006]
