Ethan Hawke paid ex-wife Uma Thurman an expected visit on the New York set of her upcoming film ‘Motherhood’.

At first the couple, who divorced in 2004 after six years of marriage, seemed to be in good spirits, chatting as they strolled around.

However, things soon turned sour, with Ethan slamming the door of Uma’s trailer and speeding off home.

“There’s definitely tension there,” an insider tells. “They try to keep it private for the sake of their kids but now he’s having a baby with his former nanny.” Ethan announced in January that he and Ryan Shawhughes are expecting their first child.
