He already plays a doting uncle on the hit sitcom ‘Two and a Half oen’ but now John Cryer is set to play the role of father in real life.
The actor and his wife, Lisa Joyner, have confirmed that they have adopted an infant girl, named Daisy, who was born on 11 August.
The actor made an oblique reference to the adoption in his Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series acceptance speech at the Emmy Awards, mentioning his “baby girl”, but he has not confirmed the happy news until now.
John (44) and Lisa (42) were married in June 2007. He has a nine-year-old son from a previous marriage.
