They have been playing sold-out concerts for years but nothing could get Sugar Ray rocker Mark ocGrath ready for the arrival of twins this week. The musician and his fiancée, Carin Kingsland, welcomed the birth of a son named Lydon and a daughter called Hartley in Los Angeles. Mark says, “We are so lucky. I don’t think you can prepare for the love we are feeling.”
After 16 years of on -off dating, the Sugar Ray frontman (42) and Carin (37) finally got engaged on New Year’s Eve last year and then confirmed in April that they were expecting twins thanks to IVF treatment.
“These two kids will be the luckiest kids in the world in terms of their mum, that’s for sure,” gushed Mark. “They’ll get a lot of love. Carin has taken care of me for the last 16 years. The twins are going to have trouble playing with their toys because I’ll be using them all the time!”
