Tom Cruise has launched a fresh attack on psychiatrists for prescribing drugs – again using his Scientology beliefs to back up his claims. The `oission: Impossible 3′ star, whose anti-drug tirade dominated interviews last year, calls for those on prescribed drugs to consider the harm of popping pills to cure your ills. He says, “I’ve always found the ‘if it makes me feel better, it’s oK’ rationale a little suspect. I think it’s appalling that people have to live a life of drug addiction when I have personally helped people get off drugs.” Tom also went on to claim he could get an addict off heroin in three days through Scientology’s detox programmes.
