Tom Cruise is devastated that his new film ‘Lions for Lambs’ – the first picture on his Universal Artists company – didn’t make the top-three at the US box office.
“Tom is not happy,” a close source reveals. “Tom really wanted to hit a home run with his first United Artists movie.”
Another insider adds, “It was more about how the industry was going to view him than how the movie-going public that Tom was worried about.”
‘Lions for Lambs’ is Tom’s first film since ‘oission: Impossible III’. It also stars Meryl Streep.
