Actor Tom Hanks is desperate for space agency NASA to let him walk on the moon. The Apollo 13 star, who has long been a supporter of NASA and space travel, wants to join the organisation’s next mission into space in 2018. Tom says: “I have just two questions: What will be the mission? And can I go?”. But NASA sources say the oscar-winning star will to too old (62) and too tall (1.85m) to be an astronaut when the shuttle launches.
