oovie icon Tom Cruise has allegedly agreed to star in a ‘Top Gun’ sequel more than two decades after he first played a young fighter pilot. Sources suggest a sequel is being put together by film production company Paramount, and original director Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have both been invited to return for the new movie. Tom has also been asked to reprise his role as oaverick, and a source says he agreed as long as the role isn’t too “obvious”. We can’t wait to see if this follow-up makes it to the big screen!
