We don’t imagine told getting your baby looks the spitting image of a 49-year-old celebrity chef with a fiery temper and a potty mouth is much of a compliment, but one mother brought the attention on her own kid when she suggested her bub and Gordon Ramsey could be twins.
New mum Claire Dempster took a picture of her cute, yet steely eyed, baby this week and Tweeted it to the cook, thinking she wouldn’t get much of a response.
Claire wrote: “@GordonRamsay this is our baba – have you been in Wales for any reason around 10 months ago.”
The resemblance is uncanny
Less than a day later the post has been retweeted more than 1,600 times and solicited a response from Ramsay himself saying the resemblance is uncanny.
It turns out he had been in Wales, but the timing is out. He replied: “Yes about 11 months ago”.
The chef, who is expecting his fifth child later this year then even tweeted a picture of the baby with a joking caption: “Poor kid.”
Let’s hope the little mini-me’s first word doesn’t start with an ‘F’.
