The Simple Life’ saved!

E! Entertainment Television has stepped in to save the reality TV show The Simple Life' which launched feuding socialites Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie to fame. The US Fox network, which launched the programme in 2003, dropped it last month following falling ratings after the stars' public bust-up. The format of the show, which centres around the wealthy girls attempting to lead normal lives on a small budget, will be altered so that Nicole and Paris will not have to share airtime. The fourth season - dubbed Till Death Do Us Part’ – will star Paris and Nicole taking turns to play “wife” to a family, with the kids and husband deciding each week who did a better job at running the house.
