The secret to Natalie Portman

Pretty and petite Natalie Portman reckons it was only-child syndrome that paved the way to her acting success. The 28-year-old ‘Closer’ star believes she would never have become an actress if she’d had brothers and sisters. The brunette beauty, who has been acting since the age of 12, thinks her parents would not have been able to devote as much time to her career if she had been one of many siblings.

Natalie tells, “I had the sole attention of my parents. And you know what? If I had had brothers or sisters, I would have never become an actress. My mother has accompanied me to every audition and every acting class. With more children, that would have never been possible. They would have been jealous of me.”
