The race is on to be the next musician to record the theme tune for the forthcoming Bond film. The movie’s producer has said, “I would love to get Duffy to sing the next tune. I think she is wonderful. Amy Winehouse would be good too.” Amy narrowly lost out last year on ‘Quantum of Solace’ when the producer Mark Ronson declared the beleagured singer “wasn’t ready” to head back into the studio. Instead the track featured the talents of Alicia Keys and White Stripes frontman Jack White. other artists who have collaborated in the past include Tina Turner with ‘Golden Eye’, Paul McCartney’s ‘Live and Let Die’, Carly Simon’s ‘Nobody Does it Better’ and Madonna’s ‘Die Another Day’.
