Following in the footsteps of ‘Heroes’, ‘The Ghost Whisperer’ and ‘The New Adventures of old Christine’, it seems medical series ‘House’ may be next in line for the chopping block.
British star Hugh Laurie, who made thecurmudgeonly Dr House famous, has admitted his current contract expires at the end of the show’s seventh season and he is unsure how much longer the medical drama will run for. “I only hope we’ll know when the time is right [to end the show],” says Hugh. “I think we’ll have a sense next year at some point.”
However Hugh (50) is not worried about the show ending, or the future in general. The former ‘Blackadder’ star jokes, “I have the brain of a hamster and I can’t think beyond five o’clock this afternoon.”
