The All-American Rejects are a bit too long in the tooth to be cashing in on the youthful rebellion and teen angst that they first made their name with. Thankfully, their latest album Kids in the Street is a more mature outing.
Following on from their 2008 hit Gives You Hell, Kids’ title song is an upbeat number with a nostalgic twist, and the lead single Beekeeper’s Daughter is a singalong classic right down to its cynical “la-da-da-dadas”.
