Desperate Housewives’ star Teri Hatcher begged the creator of the hit show to write her a love scene – because it’s the “only action she gets”. Mark Cherry joked that Terry wanted some spice on screen because she was single in real life. He says, “I remember her coming to me and saying, ‘Let me sleep with someone!’ She’s always complaining that she doesn’t have a boyfriend in real life, so I think she pushes me to have her date on the show because it’s the only action she gets.” Meanwhile, the actress has revealed she has no plans to quit the series. She raves, “I love Susan more than anything. When they write her well, there is nothing more fun. I really would love to do this show for as many years as it runs, so I have no interest in anything but this show being as good as it can be.
