Legendary tennis player Monica Seles, who was stabbed by a fan during a match with Stefi Graf in 1993, has revealed that the incident led to an eating disorder. The sportswoman, who appeared in the US version of Dancing with the Stars last yea,r confesses,”Food became my best friend. I was lonely and I would just eat. It was my coping mechanism. Food was how I dealt with stress.” The 35-year-old says she knew she’d overcome her problem when she was criticised on the show and didn’t revert to bingeing.”I cried – but I did not go back to my old habits,” she says.
