Robbie Williams initially scoffed that “hell would freeze over” before he’d take part in a Take That reunion – but now he will appear in all of their concerts. A hologram of Robbie’s image will beamed on to a giant screen to complete the original band line-up. The other members of the nineties boy-band – Gary Barlow, Mark owen, Jason orange and Howard Donald – came up with the ingenious idea after failing to persuade Robbie to join them onstage. An insider says, “It’s going to be amazing. And that’s the whole team back together. What better way to give the fans what they want? Robbie was always the cheeky one and it wouldn’t be the same without him. We just hope he sees the funny side…” [24 April 2006]
