Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle was shocked and scared when she returned home to find an intruder inside her house. The 48-year-old, who shot to fame after appearing on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, had been out performing on Simon Cowell’s ‘Help Haiti’ charity single when she discovered the teenage boy scurrying through her place.

Although Susan wasn’t hurt, she was certainly frightened by the unexpected visitor. A spokesperson for the police says, “The owner was very distressed to find someone had been within her home.”

But Susan was quick to reassure the fans waiting outside her house that she was okay. She says, “I’m fine. It’s in the hands of the police now.”

A 16-year-old was questioned but released without charge. The authorities are urging witnesses to come forward.
