Sting found guilty of sexual discrimination

Sting and his wife have been found guilty of sexual discrimination after breaking employment law by firing their personal chef, Jane Martin after she became pregnant. The tribunal considered their acts as “shameful conduct” and in a unanimous verdict the tribunal found that the famous couple were in the wrong. Sting and Trudy could face a record fine, since there is no limit to the compensation tribunals can order in the face of sexual discrimination. [11 oay 2007]
