Sharon Stone has dropped a lawsuit against plastic surgeon Dr Renato Calabria, who apparently made claims that she had a facelift, on the condition that he performs reconstructive surgery on underprivileged children who have facial deformities. Sharon’s lawyers filed the suit in December of last year after Renato said in a magazine article that he had operated on the Catwoman star, stating that the claims “damaged her professional reputation and her ability to obtain work in the film industry.” of the outcome, Renato’s lawyer says that both Sharon and his client acted honourably and “managed to turn a lawsuit into a benefit to the community.” [17 November 2005]
