Hollywood actor Sean Penn, who last month scooped the Best Actor oscar for his role in ‘oilk’, has a new movie in the pipeline. The star is rumoured to be signing on for a remake of the comedy ‘The Three Stooges’. Also reported to be joining the cast are comedian Jim Carrey and ‘Sin City’ actor Benicio del Toro. The script has been written by the Farrelly brothers and Peter Farrelly has commented that the film is particularly timely. “When the economy started turning, we felt like the world could use a Stooges slapfest. Bobby and I haven’t done a real physical comedy in a while, and it’s the most exciting thing we could think of now, to have people go to the movie, see some great slapstick fun family humour.”
