‘Scrubs’ star Sarah Chalke has revealed she got the best present anyone could ask for on the night before Christmas – a baby boy. The 33-year-old actress gave birth to little Charlie Jr on Christmas Eve, with fiancé Charlie Rhodes Afifi by her side.
Sarah says she’s fit into the parenting role well thanks to some pre-training with her pet. She explains, “I have the cutest little chocolate Lab that the whole ‘Scrubs’ cast got for me at a charity auction. She was our little ‘Scrubs’ mascot. She’d come to work with me every day. It definitely prepares you for responsibility, just like a child.”
The actress adds that she reckons she and Charlie are bound to be good parents, saying, “We’re opposite in a lot of ways and that makes a good balance – and we have so much fun together. We met so many years ago and we still have a great time together. And I feel like he’s always there for me.”
