Having sprung from the gay nightclub scene in New York, it’s been almost a decade since the Scissor Sisters’ debut album topped the UK charts. Now they’re back with a fourth offering.
Magic Hour is a fun, camp and entertainingly uneven listen. With no apparent theme, tracks range from the quirky Let’s Have A Kiki, to the melancholic The Secret Life of Letters, through to the sweet, bouncy Best In Me. Definitely worth a listen.
