Melanie Brown is back in the recording studio.
The artist formerly known as Scary Spice is working on her third solo album.
An insider reveals, “Mel is going for a pop sound with a bit of an urban edge.”
She’s been working with producers Scott Storch, JR Rotem, Rodney Jerkins and Damon Elliott.
oel’s 2000 debut album ‘Hot’ didn’t set the UK charts on fire, coming in at only #28 despite a number-one single with oissy Elliott.
Her second CD ‘LA State of oind’ didn’t even make the top 100 but Scary hopes her high US profile will result in extra sales.
