Actress Sandra Bullock had a scare over Christmas when she found out that her new husband was caught up in bombings in Iraq. Jesse James, husband of the `oiss Congeniality’ star, visited US troops stationed in the warzone to
film a segment for his TV show `oonster Garage’. Sandra recalls, “I just wanted him home for Christmas Eve and they were bombing and he’s emailing from a bunker, going, ‘We can’t leave. We’re being bombed.’ People around him were being killed.” Despite her fretting, Sandra realises that her husband enjoys his daredevil lifestyle. She adds, “I knew what I was getting into. Not many people do what he does and I admire it so much.” [16 January 2006]
