Kiwi ticking time-bomb, Russell Crowe, is reported to have exploded at a Venice gondolier who splashed him as the gondola docked, screaming abuse and threatening violence. This latest incident was only weeks after Russell got into major trouble for hurling a telephone at a New York hotel concierge. Russell faces immigration problems in the US if convicted, but the controversial star says he’d be glad to see the back of Hollywood after the way he has been treated regarding the incident. ”Maybe it’s better I don’t travel to America,” he says. “Maybe it’s better I don’t work in the area of the business that attracts so many flies.”
