New ‘Beverly Hills’ spin-off ‘90210’ is keeping the plot hot with guest star Rumer Willis playing a new lesbian role. The 21-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi oMore has set Hollywood tongues wagging by taking on a steamy same-sex part.
Executive producer Rebecca Sinclair assures fans the storyline will be tasteful and will simply mirror real teen issues. “We’re coming at this from a genuine place, not just for a titillating story that will grab some promotion,” she says. “This is a real aspect of teenage life that’s interesting. There’s been a real void in the ‘90210’ universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.”
