Princess Eugenie’s friends are urging the young royal to join them in a scripted reality TV series based on the US show ‘The Hills’. The 19-year-old’s friends, including ex-boyfriend Hugo Taylor, have already finished filming a pilot episode of their programme, called ‘The Chelsea Set’, for oTV and reckon a royal presence will encourage station bosses to commission a full series. However, Buckingham Palace insiders say Eugenie is unlikely to take part. one tells, “Her sister Beatrice was asked last year but refused and Eugenie will probably do the same. Hugo has been trying to persuade her to take part but she knows it would be unbecoming for a royal to be seen flaunting wealth or indulging in the petty dramas that the show’s format demands.”
