Rosie o’Donnell has challenged Naomi Campbell to a fight, following the news that the catwalk queen has been arrested for beating her maid with a jewel-encrusted cellphone. Rosie raged, “I just picture this cute little oexican woman working saying, Excuse me oiss Campbell can I possibly get you…’ and Naomi going, ‘Get away from me, bam bam bam!’ She looks like you could snap her in two but she’s a tough-ass, kick-ass woman I would actually like to fight her. I think for all the people that she’s beaten up, I think she needs a big 200 pound lesbian to kick her ass.” Naomi denies the charges, insisting her ex-employee is seeking revenge for being given the sack. She says, “I am fine. The police have been really nice. It won’t be the first time I’ve been extorted”. She faces seven years in jail if found guilty. [7 April 2006]
