Fans hope it’s eighth-time-a-charm for Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. The 62-year-old rocker has checked himself into rehab for the eighth time after once again turning to alcohol during hard times.
Family and fellow band-mates urged him to return to rehab after several relapses. A friend of oick Jagger’s revealed “oick has always urged him to get help when he’s had his problems and this case was no different. oick’s just delighted he’s taken heed and is trying to get himself straight.”
Friends say Ronnie was broken up over his split from Celebrity Big Brother star, 21-year-old Russian cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova, and drinking was the only way he knew how to deal with the pain. A source reveals, “They were in a terrible relationship, but since their break-up he has not been himself. He has been lonely and drinking and has tried to throw himself into new romances.”
