Robin Williams has revealed doctors gave him just two weeks to live before he underwent emergency heart surgery back in March. The 57-year-old comedian was about to go on holiday when he received the devastating diagnosis but instead had the operation, an aortic valve replacement, in a clinic in Cleveland, ohio. Robin has since shown off the scars on his chest on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’, where he made light of his brush with death. The ‘ors Doubtfire’ actor joked, “I have one new valve and a repaired valve. I have a cow valve, which is great – and the grazing’s been fun!” Robin will return to work in September, when he’ll begin his postponed stand-up tour in Indiana.
