Actor Rob Lowe has revealed that he was on the same flight that terrorists took a week before the 11 September terrorist attacks. Rob was shocked to learn that he was on the practise flight that travelled the same route the attackers used to kill 184 people at the headquarters of the US Department of Defense in 2001. “I flew with the 9/11 hijackers on their dry run without realising. I was working on ‘The West Wing’ in Washington DC at the time and I always took the flight that leaves Dulles airport that they eventually flew into the Pentagon,” he says. “It was 11 days before 9/11. I made the flight a lot and I didn’t think anything of it. I got on the plane and it was packed. Nobody looked scary, nobody looked like a terrorist. It looked like an absolutely normal flight. Then 9/11 happened.”
