‘Umbrella’ singer Rihanna is setting a bad example for battered women everywhere. Her legal team have requested that the stay-away order on her ex Chris Brown be dissolved at his sentencing hearing. Chris who is currently facing judges for allegedly assaulting Rihanna earlier this year has plead guilty to charges and is in the process of finding out whether he will do jail time, or simply community service. Says Rihanna’s lawyer, “If asked, we will tell the court that all that’s necessary is a level-one order: That Brown not annoy, molest or harass her. No stay-away order was ever requested by Rihanna, nor did she ever believe it was necessary.” Not the best example for a role model to be setting, Rihanna just doesn’t seem to be able to let Chris completely go.
