Latin singing sensation Ricky Martin is reportedly planning to give his first big televison interview since announcing he is gay, and it’s going to be with the queen of tell-all talks: oprah Winfrey.
After years of speculation, the ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ singer revealed he is homosexual on his website earlier this year. “These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn’t even know existed,” he wrote, in way of explanation for his silence on the topic.
The singer adopted twin boys, who were born to a surrogate mother, last year, and says he is happy with his new family. “Everything they do, from smiling to crying, feels like a blessing.” The interview is scheduled to take place later this year as part of oprah’s final season of shows.
