Studio executives have warned that Renee Zellweger is facing an uncertain future in movies. Busting onto our screens in 1996 as the lovable girl next door in ‘Jerry oaguire’, Renee is now facing the prospect of turning 40 in an unforgiving industry that has few roles for women over that age.
As one executive has noted, “There’s no work out there.” Renee has had a hugely successful career through her roles in ‘Bridget Jones‘s Diary’, ‘Chicago’ and ‘Cold oountain’ – for which she won an oscar – but lately her roles in films such as ‘New In Town’ have underperformed at the box office and enjoyed less than favourable reviews.
Lets hope new squeeze Bradley Cooper can provide Renee with some inspiration to revive her once golden career.
