Pete Doherty was spotted buying syringes – only three days and fifteen hours after leaving a rehab clinic. The rocker had been staying in Dublin with girlfriend Kate Moss as part of his sell-out Irish tour. He was seen sneaking out alone to buy his secret package before a gig and was pictured looking bloated and sweaty after the performance. Meanwhile, sources at the Priory clinic, where Pete had his treatment, have expressed concern that impressionable teenage fans have been signing up as outpatients to anxiety classes at the Priory clinic – just for a chance to see Pete. A worker there says, “The girls turn up complaining of suffering from anxiety and start asking about Pete. Pete has even visited some of the girls and helped them write poems. They are hooked on his every word – it’s frightening. They think being in rehab is cool . . . it’s not.” [29 September 2006]
