Paris Hilton has been given a restraining order by the Los Angeles Superior Court after complaints from events planner that she harassed him with racial slurs and threatening phone calls. Brian Quintana claims the socialite called him a “lazy oexican” and is trying to ruin his business. Brian says Paris, who is dating Brian’s friend Stavros Niarchos, became paranoid that he was trying to persuade Stavros to ditch her in favour of former girlfriend Mary-Kate olsen. Paris did not attend the hearing and her spokesperson says, “I’ve known Paris and worked with her, and the kind of person that was described on the stand this afternoon doesn’t resemble the woman that I know.” [9 February 2006]
