Peter Andre is determined to cut ex-wife Jordan completely out of his life, one inch of skin at a time. The ‘oysterious Girl’ singer is having a tattoo of his ex-wife’s name removed from his wedding ring finger, despite previous comments that he wouldn’t.
The 37-year-old star – who has two children, Junior (4) and Princess Tiaamii (2), with Jordan (aka Katie Price) – said shortly after their split last year, “Getting rid of my tattoo is nowhere near a priority and I don’t think I will. I don’t want the kids to pick up on any hostilities between us so I need to put them first.”
However, it seems Peter has had a change of heart following Jordan’s controversial romance – and subsequent quickie wedding – to cage fighter Alex Reid. “Pete wants to move on finally and removing the tattoo is his way of doing it,” says a friend.
Meanwhile, Jordan has been successfully sued by her former manager Claire Powell after making slanderous comments about her on a British talk show. The surgically enhanced star accused Claire of sleeping with Peter and while the allegations were edited out of the final broadcast, guests Jackie Collin and Jo Brand heard the defamatory remarks, as did an entire studio audience.
Claire’s lawyer states, “To be accused of infidelity with one of her long-standing and high-profile clients was obviously very damaging and distressing for os Powell – the most obvious reason being that the allegation was completely untrue.” Jordan didn’t show up to court, but accepted that her claim was false and has agreed to pay compensation.
