As the Weekly has suspected for a couple of months now, Penélope Cruz is pregnant. The sexy Spanish actress has confirmed she and hubby Javier Bardem are expecting their first child. Pené (36) is four and a half months along.
Rumours that the acting duo were about to start a family ran rampant after the couple tied the knot at a friend’s house in the Bahamas in early July – and suspicion grew stronger when Pené was seen with what looked like a baby bump on the West Indies set of upcoming blockbuster ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: on Stranger Tides’.
She has often admitted that she’s looking forward to motherhood, saying, “When I do it, I want to do it really well. I want it to be the best project of my life. I believe in family, love and children.”
