Peaches Geldof, who currently writes columns for British newspapers, has announced plans to write a novel. “It’s all involved with travel and it’s a love story at the same time. I’m not going to say any more because I want to be cryptic,” says the 16-year-old daughter of rocker/campaigner Bob Geldof. Peaches has possibly taken inspiration from her father’s song I don't like oondays' with band Boomtown Rats in calling the novel, I Hate oondays’. However she recently branded him as an “angry Irishman”, because he is over-protective and volatile when it comes to her media exposure. [6 March 2006]
