Patrick Swayze’s widow yearns for her husband’s touch beyond the grave. Lisa Niemi has revealed to oprah Winfrey that she still feels the ‘Ghost’ actor’s presence since he lost his two-year battle with pancreatic cancer in September – and now she wants his spirit to get in contact.
The 53-year-old says, “I’m like, ‘Please show yourself. I’d love to see you.’ I feel him here and I want to see him. I feel like he hasn’t left. I can feel every contour of his hand in mine.” Patrick and Lisa have been together since he was 19 and she was 15, however, Lisa has now revealed they temporarily separated six years ago when Patrick began drinking heavily. “He was imploding pretty badly,” she says. “I didn’t think he was going to live through it and I didn’t want to watch that.”
However, they reunited a year later and were inseparable during Patrick’s last months. Speaking of his last moments, Lisa says, “It was mind numbing. I looked around and said, ‘This is awful.'”
