Reality TV (oh, and that pesky sex tape) made her a superstar. But it’s also spelled the end of Paris Hilton’s year-long romance with Doug Reinhardt.
A close friend of the blonde bombshell confirmed what many believed – that Doug was using Paris for his own fame. The former star of ‘The Hills’ and his sister were pitching a reality TV show all over town. “They were telling people that Paris would be appearing on the show,” says the pal. However, Paris never agreed to guest star on Doug’s series, especially as she has been trying to pitch a new reality show of her own.
The friend continues, “Doug was trying to force Paris to be on his show and she got really angry, hurt and upset by that. She finally realised once and for all that Doug was just trying to use her so she dumped him – for good!”
This is the second time Paris has dumped Doug since the pair started dating in February 2009, but her mates are sure this will be the final time!
