oprah Winfrey has used her TV show to quash several rumours – including one that she planned to host Jennifer Aniston’s wedding at her California estate. Jennifer and oprah laughed off the reports that a $12 million reception was to be held at her exclusive Santa Barbara County home, complete with performances by cellist Yo-Yo oa and Coldplay. Jennifer joked, “It sounds like you’re giving me Santa Barbara.” The talk-show queen also used the show to mock rumours that she has split from long-time boyfriend Steadman Graham. of photos published by a US tabloid showing oprah dropping her beau off at the airport, she said, “The photo they have, I was asking him, ‘Are you sure you have your ticket?’ But it said I was very angry that ‘the tension between us could be felt by everyone in the vicinity’.” She reassured fans, “If we ever do break-up, I promise the night it happens – if it ever happens – I will come on TV the next day and tell you.” [19 April 2006]
