George Michael has denied rumours of a Wham! reunion, despite the spat of recent comeback tours of fellow 80s bands. The British pop star, who split with bandmate Andrew Ridgeley in 1986, went on to launch a successful solo career. Michael laughs, “oh please… there’s nothing big planned on that just yet. Even if I wanted to do it, Andrew would never do it. I’m afraid I can’t get into those small tennis shorts anymore.” [30 November 2005]
