Desperate Housewives’ star Nicollette Sheridan has recorded a duet with fiancé Michael Bolton – aptly named `The Second Time Around’. The song, which appears on Michael’s latest album, reflects real-life romance for the couple, who had a six-year relationship in the 90s and rekindled the flame last year. “The second time around is a big deal for us,” says Michael, who reveals he seized the opportunity to woo Nicollette again when she broke off her engagement to then-beau Nicklas Soderblom. He adds, “When it’s time, you just know. In a way, we have both always known.” [11 April 2006]
