New mum Nicole Richie has put herself on bed rest. The TV star, who gave birth to son Sparrow in September, was recently hospitalised when a cold turned into pneumonia. Nicole’s now taken to her bed in an effort to fully recover.
The 28-year old was taken to a medical centre in Los Angeles after complaining of feeling unwell and doctors made the diagnosis. Writing on her blog, Nicole said, “Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon.”
Nicole has indicated that she will be back to work in autumn 2010, when she launches a new line of clothing called Winter Kate.
